This new find caught my eye recently – I love the bright colors of the scene and simple shapes of the people. Even in the coldest darkest days you can feel the warmth of the scene.

This painting hanging on my thrift art gallery wall is not very big, on a hand stretched canvas, the materials look old, and the frame even older.
I see this boy on a raft, heading home at sunset. Someone else saw what may be fish that he caught. I wonder of the artist, was it a memory or an imagination?
